Exposed aggregate
Washed back to reveal the stone. Grippy underfoot, hides marks, and no two driveways look identical.
Exposed aggregate, coloured or slate finish — whatever look you're after, it starts with the same solid base and formwork. Family-run since 1989, across south-east Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
Every driveway we pour starts the same way underneath, whatever finish sits on top: excavation, a compacted base, formwork set to line and level, and reinforcement tied in before any concrete goes down. Get that stage right and the driveway holds up regardless of which finish you choose. Get it wrong and no finish will save it.
Three ways we finish a driveway. Have a look, or bring us a photo of something you like.

Oxide through the mix rather than on top, so chips and wear don't show a grey layer underneath.
A slate texture pressed into the surface while it's still wet. Reads like laid stone, one continuous slab.
Family-run since 1989 — 37 years pouring driveways across the same patch of Melbourne. $20M public liability insurance, current. Fixed-price quotes, no surprises after the fact. And the photos on this page are from our own jobs, not stock images.
