Oxide mixed through the concrete before it's poured, not painted on afterward, so chips and everyday wear don't show a grey layer underneath. Formed properly, poured once, and matched to your brick or render.
Oxide pigment added to the concrete mix before it's poured, so the colour runs right through the slab rather than sitting on the surface as a coating. It's still the same structural concrete underneath — the colour is part of the mix, not a finish applied on top.
Four stages, in order. You'll know which one we're up to.
We measure up, check access for the truck and the fall for drainage, then quote a fixed price with the finish written on it.
Excavation, compacted base, formwork set to line and level, and reinforcement tied. This stage decides how the finished job looks.
Concrete placed, screeded and worked to the finish you chose. Exposed aggregate gets washed back once the surface has gone off enough.
Expansion cuts in, sealer applied where it's needed, formwork and spoil taken away. We tell you when it's right to drive on.
