The cured surface is ground back with diamond pads until it's smooth and low-sheen, exposing a touch of the aggregate underneath without the rough texture of a fully exposed finish. It's a grinding process done after the pour, not a different concrete mix.

Excavation, compacted base, formwork set to line and level, and reinforcement tied. This stage decides how the finished job looks.
Concrete placed, screeded and worked to the finish you chose. Exposed aggregate gets washed back once the surface has gone off enough.
Expansion cuts in, sealer applied where it's needed, formwork and spoil taken away. We tell you when it's right to drive on.
